*Sample 1*
With this first sample, I have taken a photo shot in Enkhuizen, The Netherlands and with a filter effect I have turned it into a picture resembling a 'water color'. Printed on canvas paper gives it the appearance of a rich painting. I then look for the perfect mat for each piece to draw colors from the print.

*Sample 2*
With this sample using a picture of the Lone Cypress in Monterey, I have not added any special effect. The natural lighting was filter enough!  It does indeed look much like a painting once applied to the canvas paper.

Roses have never been 'my' favorite flower, BUT this dark red rose I have in my yard always blooms with the most gorgeous dark red color!

As I went to sleep one night in a little hotel in Paris, the view out my window was breath taking. I zoomed my camera to get this shot. A friend has nicknamed the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur the "Sugar Cake" and rightly so!

Every time I visit Kauai I shoot new pictures of the plumeria flowers, but this one taken years ago has always been my favorite. I have taken this favorite and given it a subtle water color effect.

Wolf Spirit... [A-WOLF-001]

I have a soft spot for the plight of the wolf. This photo I captured during a visit while at Wolf Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in Ramah, New Mexico.

Kittens [A-KIT-001]

For all you cat lovers out there! There is definitely nothing cuter than critters when they are small... This was a stray litter born in our backyard a few years ago. A happy ending as I found a home for "Mama" and she was spayed, and all the kittens went to good homes as well...all except one that is! The little white one is now one of our cats at 16 pounds!

Ke'e Beach, Kauai [A-BCH-001]

This view of Ke'e Beach was shot from high a top the Kalalau trail... I have this picture hanging in my house in a poster size and it is truly a favorite. Notice the way you can see the reef by the color difference in the water.

Purple Princess Flower [A-PPF-001]

I don't know the "real" name of this flower but only what I have heard it referred to... I first saw it growing wild in Kauai years ago, but since then it has become quite popular here in California as well. Dark purple flowers with a very velvety feeling to the leaves.

Oregon Coast [A-OCP-001]

Most pictures of the Oregon coast show a very rugged coast line. This one shows a river flowing to the sea amongst the sand dunes. I have adapted it to look more like a painting and feathered the edges for even more effect.

Tulip Field... [A-TFPAN-001]

This picture of tulip fields is shot and printed in ' panorama ' mode. And I have added a water color effect to it as well. The print alone is 10 x 4 ( 25 x 10 centimeters) inches but is still matted for an 11 x 14 frame. This looks great with an antique type green frame!

It is such fun to macro in on one single flower where you can see the details so vividly as on this peach colored tulip.
